Please join UP for Art for an Open House to view concepts for the proposed Terry Reim Memorial Bronze Duck in Market Square in the UP Town Center!
We are presenting the finalists in our open call to artists at a public viewing on Saturday, March 27th from 12:00 to 3 p.m. in the University Place City Council Chambers, 3715 Bridgeport Way West.
The proposed Bronze Duck is to commemorate Terry Reim, a long time city resident and businessman who was instrumental in the incorporation effort along with establishing the Duck Parade and UP Farmer’s Market.

University Place Self-guided Public Art Tour
UP for Art is pleased to present an online map and background information for a tour of some of the public art in University Place. The tour is self-guided and involves an eight-mile loop around the city with twelve different art stops. Click on this link to take you to the virtual tour: UP for Art - CommunityWalk
Driving instructions from stop to stop and a map of the entire loop can be printed by clicking on the car icon in the blue bar in the middle of the screen
Meetings: UP for Art meets the third Tuesday of the month at 7:00 at City Hall. The work the group undertakes requires a wide range of skills and experience. Membership is NOT limited to artists. UP for Art takes pride in the flexibility with which it approaches projects so that members can participate when they are available.
Anyone interested is welcome.
